JIM ILKAY
Senior Partner, Innovia Corporation
With over 35 years in capital projects, Jim Ilkay, founder of Innovia Corporation, has excelled in property development, construction, and operations.
Notable projects include managing a 200-bed long-term care facility, advising a national REIT on residential redevelopment, and overseeing a 35-storey mixed-use development in Toronto.
As Development Manager for CKF Rail Development, he played a key role in the Rail Deck District, a 4.5 million sq. ft. mixed-use project over Metrolinx rail corridor. In 2016, he co-founded Innovia Geo Corp., focusing on geothermal HVAC systems. His contributions at EllisDon, from 2000 to 2009, were pivotal, supporting the company’s entry into P3 healthcare projects and international markets. Before EllisDon, Jim was President of a Texas-based specialty contractor.
His career began in 1985 in property development, and he has actively participated in industry conferences and organizations, showcasing his commitment to advancing construction practices.
Stanley Hole
Managing Partner, Construction Services
With over 25 years in major projects, Stanley leads Innovia’s Construction Services, ensuring high-performance standards. He manages complex public and private projects, providing expertise from design through construction. The Construction Services team offers support during the development phase, conducting constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk management while staying informed about market conditions.
Stanley’s robust industry relationships grant clients timely access to market trends, capacity, and risk concerns, facilitating favourable pricing and terms.
Notable assignments include overseeing major transit projects in the GTA, commercial and institutional projects in the US, and managing projects across the Caribbean. Stanley’s career began at EllisDon Corporation, where he transitioned from estimator to project and construction management, contributing to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
His extensive experience spans commercial, civil projects, and Transit-Oriented Development.
